Seat-picking tips

  • The Nordwestkurve behind the goal is the loudest and cheapest part of the ground, but almost all of it is standing on safe-standing rails - no numbered place, on your feet for the whole match. For European nights the rails become seats.
  • The Jürgen-Grabowski-Tribüne opposite the main Bernd-Hölzenbein-Tribüne gives almost the same viewing angle for less.
  • Every upper tier here, Hölzenbein and Grabowski alike, starts above a two-storey ring of business boxes, so it sits higher and further back than usual - for closeness to the pitch take the lower tier near the halfway line.
