Rome's Olympic stadium is the shared home of both city clubs - one oval bowl in which each side keeps its own curva, and where twice a season they meet in the Derby della Capitale. The athletics track, a legacy of the 1960 Games, holds every stand back from the pitch, and that is the first thing to weigh when choosing a seat.

Seat-picking tips

The running track holds the stands back, and it is deepest behind the goals - in the curve you sit far further from the net than at a ground built for football alone. The Distinti corners beside them keep much of the noise with a far cleaner sightline.
Curva Sud is Roma's end and Curva Nord is Lazio's, permanently. The two clubs share the ground, so check which of them is at home before buying into a curva - the home end swaps from match to match.
Tribuna Monte Mario is the main stand - dugouts, directors' box and the television angle - and the dearest in the ground. Tevere opposite gives almost the same picture for less, but take the higher rows: from the front the track and the hoardings cut off the near touchline.
