Johan Cruijff ArenA
Johan Cruijff ArenA
Ajax's home since 1996, and one of the first stadiums in Europe built with a retractable roof. The bowl is two big rings of seats with a business level in between, and the first digit of the section number on your ticket tells you where you are: 1 is down by the pitch, 4 is the upper ring.

Seat-picking tips
- The West Stand is the main stand - executive boxes, dugouts and the players' tunnel are all on that side - and its middle is VIP seating. The same head-on view comes at a normal price directly opposite, in the East Stand.
- The upper ring - the sections whose numbers start with 4 - is the cheapest in the ground and shows you the whole pitch, but it sits high and well back. Take the low rows along a touchline rather than anything behind a goal.
- The South Stand behind the goal is the home of the F-Side, with section 127 as its heart: the loudest part of the ground, but everyone stands for the full ninety minutes. Away fans go to the opposite end, the North Stand, in sections 416-417 through Gate K.
