Bernabéu

Bernabéu

Real Madrid's home, officially shortened from Santiago Bernabéu to simply Bernabéu at the end of 2025. The rebuild turned it into a steep, enclosed bowl with a retractable roof and a pitch that slides away underground, and the stands now sit closer to the grass than before.

Seat-picking tips

  • The west long side (Lateral Oeste), level with the halfway line, has the best view in the ground; the Lateral Este opposite takes the low sun at afternoon kick-offs.
  • Fondo Sur is the loud end, with the organised support in its lowest rows - sit a few rows above them for all of the noise without standing for ninety minutes.
  • The fourth amphitheatre, the top level, is the cheapest area and also the highest and steepest - and the upper Fondo Norte is usually where the away support goes.
