Seat-picking tips

• Every seat is under the roof, so cover is not a reason to choose a side. The West Stand (Batı) is the main one - dugouts and the VIP seats in the middle of its lower tier; the hospitality boxes (144 according to Wikipedia, 147 according to StadiumDB) are spread across three of the stands, all but the north. The identical view across the halfway line costs a normal price directly opposite, in the East lower tier (Doğu Alt). The whole lower tier is fairly flat, raked at about 23 degrees, so take its back rows rather than the first few.
• The upper tier is the exact opposite: raked at almost 39 degrees, among the steepest in Europe. The view from it is excellent, but the back rows are no place for anyone uneasy with heights - and because the ground is built into the hillside you walk into that tier straight from street level. The top rows of the West Stand are the highest in the ground, and they look out over the low East Stand to the Bosphorus.
• The North Stand behind the goal (Kuzey) is home to Çarşı, Beşiktaş's supporters' group: no hospitality boxes, more rows than any other stand, and the cheapest and loudest seats in the ground - but everyone is on their feet for the full ninety. Away fans are given the upper blocks at the opposite end, in the South Stand (blocks 418 to 421) - worth checking that the "cheap seat behind the goal" you are buying is not in the away section.
